When you arrive at Harry Chapin Food Bank, 3760 Fowler Street, please pull into the parking lot south of the building, drive past the fenced in area, to the doors marked “office.” Park outside of the fence and come in through the office door. If the parking lot is blocked or busy, please drive to the back of the building, (Central Street via Carrell Rd or Winkler Ave). You may also park in the lot south of HCFB-please do not park in any marked parking spaces, as we need to be respectful to the surrounding businesses, or in the grass along Central Street. We suggest ride sharing, if possible.

Sorting and Packing Food
Help HCFB prepare donations to be distributed! Pre-sort, inspect and package food items and other nonfood packages. Projects may include food drive, bread, or meat sorting & boxing, packing fresh produce, or building kits.
Volunteering for the Harry Chapin Food Bank is not complicated, but it can be strenuous.  It requires bending, lifting, and standing for a two and one-half hour shift.
